Ambreen Agha RSW, MSW, Psychotherapist
Ambreen is known for her kind, warm, and thoughtful approach to therapy, prioritizing trust, safety, and genuine connection in each session. She practices with strong ethics and integrity, creating a respectful and non-judgmental space where clients can feel at ease. As an Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist, Ambreen is deeply passionate about helping clients build a compassionate relationship with their inner world. She supports this work with authenticity, creativity, lightheartedness, and gentle humor, believing that meaningful change happens when people feel both understood and empowered. With years of experience and a commitment to ongoing learning, Ambreen works with adults from diverse backgrounds, identities, cultures, and faiths, offering inclusive care that supports clients in living more present, connected, and meaningful lives.
Naila Tariq- Psychotherapist
Naila is a Registered Psychotherapist with a background in Clinical Psychology and over five years of experience in the mental health field. She brings a thoughtful, supportive approach to her work, with a strong focus on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Naila works collaboratively with clients to gently identify unhelpful patterns and develop practical, meaningful tools for resilience and lasting change. Mindfulness is an integral part of her practice, offering accessible ways to build greater presence, clarity, and self-compassion in everyday life.
Meet Our Social Work / Psychotherapy Intern
Mydah Bhalli RSW
Mydah Bhalli is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and MSW candidate at York University. She completed her Bachelor of Social Work in 2025 and is currently continuing her clinical training through her Master’s program. Mydah brings a calm, warm, and collaborative presence to her work, and values creating a space where clients feel safe, heard, and supported. She has experience working as an instructor therapist in the Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) field, supporting children with disabilities aged 4 to 13. This work shaped her understanding of behaviour as meaningful communication, approached with curiosity and care rather than judgment. Under supervision, Mydah supports clients through psychotherapy with a focus on building self-awareness, resilience, and practical tools for everyday life. She believes healing happens through collaboration, compassion, and working at a pace that feels respectful. Outside of therapy, Mydah enjoys reading (The Nightingale is a favourite), travelling, baking, and spending time with loved ones, experiences that help keep her grounded and connected, both personally and professionally.
I have had the pleasure of working with Ambreen Agha as her client for over a year now. She is an incredible therapist and practitioner.
